Video: Prizren, Kosovo in 60 seconds

I took a Balkan roadtrip last December, and one of the surprising highlights was the Kosovo town of Prizren. It was cold and foggy. I couldn’t even see the castle on the hill above town. And the town introduction was unusual. Crooked cobbled lanes were hard to navigate, so a hotel doorman returned with me to the parked car, several blocks away. He pointed out nightclubs, a mineral water spring, a nut shop, then we stopped to talk to several locals. One big guy informed me I made the right decision picking Prizren over the capital Pristina. “There’s nothing to see in f•cking Pristina.” It was very funny.

Enjoy this 60-second video!
